Karin Hageneder: 32bit recorder songs (2013) für Sopranblockflöte und Zuspielband von Matthias Kranebitter
For soprano recorder, stereo-playback. date of premiere: 2014, Mexico D.F.
The 32bit recorder songs explore the formal idea of a list in a musical context. The list as a narrative form seems very popular to me in the recent past, we tend to explain the world in rankings and ratings. So I thought about making a piece of music with it, where I create a sequence of colourful, heterogeneous, maybe even contradicting bits of music. https://matthiaskranebitter.com/list-of-works/solo-instruments-with-and-without-electronics/32bit-recorder-songs/
